ABOUT GENERATOR PARIS

Located in the vibrant Canal St. Martin area, Generator Paris offers a mix of contemporary cool, with proximity to landmarks like Oscar Niemeyer’s French Communist Headquarters, Canal Saint-Martin, and Gare du Nord. The hostel features stylish spaces including Café Fabien, Le Club, and Khayma Rooftop with stunning views of Sacré-Cœur and Montmartre, embodying the best of Paris under one roof.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Ensure our social spaces embody the Generator brand and culture.
• Maintain responsible staffing with a duty manager onsite at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all local legislation and regulations.
• Control payroll and departmental costs.
• Own the guest journey to deliver a unique Generator experience.
• Continuously improve standards and customer satisfaction.
• Build and lead a team that understands and embodies the Generator spirit.
• Communicate effectively to motivate and align the team.
• Stay updated on local, national, and international trends.
• Explore new revenue opportunities.

Other duties may be reasonably required as part of this role.

WHAT’S IN YOUR DNA

• A passion for hospitality and youth travel markets.
• Fluent in French and English; knowledge of a third European language is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and development skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Eligible to work in the EU.

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.
• At least 3 years in a similar hotel role, including cash handling, accounting, and administrative tasks.
• At least 3 years in customer service within a hotel setting.
• Experience with Property Management Systems.
