CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production machinery within our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, repair or replace parts, calibrate equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to Lockout/Tagout safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma or equivalent in mechanical maintenance or industrial mechanics.
• Proven experience as Front End Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsabilités

Job Summary

CROWN Bevcan France SAS is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute routine preventative maintenance on front-end production machinery, including but not limited to presses, scroll shears, and associated conveyors.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Perform adjustments and calibrations to machinery for optimal performance and product quality.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems related to mechanical functions.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

Job Qualifications

• Vocational diploma or equivalent in mechanical maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Front End Mechanic or Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the packaging or metal forming industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
