As a front-end engineer at Zoī, you'll be responsible for developing innovative web applications for preventive health. Zoī’s web application is the key interface for doctors and supporting medical operations teams.

We are looking for an engineer with a deep understanding of core front-end principles, who can simplify complexity and transform design into clean code. The web app’s performance, accessibility, and superior user experience are all mission critical for our continued success, and we are seeking a talented and committed engineer to join our team!

Main Missions

1. Conceptualize and develop responsive, user-friendly, secured web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, security engineers, product managers, and end-users (doctors) to create cohesive and well-integrated solutions.
3. Implement and maintain UI components, ensuring accessibility and compatibility across various platforms and devices.
4. Utilize agile methodologies and CI/CD practices to iteratively improve and deploy web applications.
5. Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to identify and resolve bugs, including security issues and performance issues.
6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the development process.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
8. Contribute to project planning, estimation, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient delivery of web applications.
9. Participate in writing technical documentation and reviews.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5 years of proven experience in React.js.
3. Excellent proficiency in Git and TypeScript is required.
4. Previous experience with React Query, Sass, GraphQL, Node.js, Jest is highly appreciated.
5. Proven experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD, and GitLab.
6. Humble and curious, keen to understand the wider business environment and user needs to inform your code.
7. Organized, methodical, and analytical, capable of transforming complex challenges into simplified work plans and code.
8. Dynamic and entrepreneurial, with the energy and drive to lead topics in a fast-paced startup environment.
9. Fluent in French (our working language), with strong written English skills.
