Holland Bikes in Paris (Opéra, 9th arrondissement) seeks a full-time seasonal bike rental agent ambassador for July to November. You will welcome customers, guide rentals or tours, and manage the bike fleet, ensuring a smooth experience for an international clientele.

You should be comfortable with computers, assist with reservations, and handle cash at the desk. The role offers a dynamic tourism environment and opportunities to develop operations coordination skills in France.

Holland Bikes is a Franco‑Dutch company specialized in the rental and sale of classic and electric bikes, accessories, as well as bike repair and maintenance across France.

But that’s not all: we also offer bike rentals and guided tours in some of the most beautiful cities in the world such as Paris, Versailles, Bordeaux, Nice, Lyon… and even New York!

You’ll be working in one of our largest bike rental outlets, located in Opéra, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. It’s also the departure point for all our guided tours of Paris. You will be on a full‑time (35h) seasonal fixed‑term contract for a period of 4 months.

Position available immediately through the end of November.

Tasks

As a Holland Bikes ambassador and bike rental agent, you will represent our brand, our products and our service. You will oversee managing customers who come to the counter to rent bikes or take a guided tour. You will also be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the bike fleet.

You will oversee the customer experience, welcoming customers and helping them enjoy the best possible experience, whether renting a bike or taking a guided tour. You will promote Dutch cycling as part of a fun and memorable experience.

Your main tasks and activities:

• Customer service: Welcome, guide and advise customers.
• Assist customers with their bike or guided tour reservations
• Checking bikes before and after rental or tour.
• Work with computer software on a daily basis to track guided tour bookings and bike rentals.
• Cash receipts, cash desk management
• Fleet management: bikes need to be clean, tidy and ready to go at any time.

Requirements

• You’re easy to talk to and enjoy offering a quality experience in a pleasant working environment. We consider you to be committed and eager to learn.
• You should preferably speak Dutch and English, as we have an international clientele.
• You’re resourceful by nature and enjoy finding solutions to unforeseen problems. You like cycling.
• You’re comfortable with computers and software.

Location : Position based at Holland Bikes’ Tours & Rentals Opéra, Paris 9.

Conditions : Fixed‑term seasonal contract (35h) from July to November, with potential for a permanent contract.

Weekend and public holiday work required.
