JOB DIMENSIONS

The Service holder will coordinate the Budget & Cost Control activities for a Package of the B58 Suriname Project throughout the Project lifecycle.

ACTIVITIES

The Service Supplier will participate actively in the Cost Control activities of one package (FPSO, SURF, SPS, Drilling) of the B58 Suriname Project.

The Service holder will advise the Project Control Manager / Lead, as needed, and support the Project in all matters regarding the Cost Control structure, procedures, reporting, and practices using tools such as SAP, U-COST, or similar.

Part of the role includes preparing, analyzing, processing, and presenting all information related to Project costs and expenditures, in close liaison with the Project Control Manager / Lead.

The Service holder shall be familiar with cost estimation processes, actuals, accruals, provisions, and forecast notions within a multi-year, multi-currency Project environment.

They shall compare initial budgets, previous statuses, and current forecasts, justifying gaps with technical teams.

Any issues regarding Budgeting and Costs should be highlighted and escalated, with mitigation actions proposed when necessary.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

The activity occurs during the execution phase of a major project in Suriname, involving multidisciplinary teams managing offshore discoveries.

The project faces technical challenges including reservoir development, FPSO, and subsea systems, aiming to maximize economic results, optimize reserves and schedules, reduce costs and GHG emissions, while maintaining high H3SE standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualification: Extensive experience in Oil & Gas Cost Control Management.

Professional Experience: At least 10 years.

Project Experience: Minimum 5 years.
