Alignerr is seeking a French Generalist Voice Actor (AI Training) to record high-quality French audio and evaluate AI-generated speech, helping AI systems sound natural, expressive, and authentically human. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role.

You should have full fluency in French, experience in voice acting or related audio work, and access to a quiet recording setup. No AI background is required; you’ll work asynchronously and on your own schedule, with scripts provided.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, high-fidelity French audio using provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, tone, and expressiveness
• Provide structured, constructive feedback to improve synthesized voice quality
• Review and refine scripts to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Full fluency in spoken French — native or near-native speakers strongly preferred
• Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio work
• Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances consistently
• Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall audio clarity
• Detail-oriented when evaluating and providing feedback on speech quality
• No AI or tech background required

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple voice acting styles — commercial, narrative, character, or instructional
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
• Knowledge of regional French variations — European, Canadian, African, or otherwise
• Background in linguistics, communications, or broadcast media
• Prior exposure to AI voice evaluation or speech data projects
