We are seeking an experienced Employment and Labour lawyer to join their dynamic team in PARIS.

Role Overview : As part of the Employment & Labour law team, you will work on a variety of complex, high-profile matters, advising leading multinational companies on all aspects of employment and labour law. The role will involve both contentious and non-contentious work, with a particular focus on cross-border employment issues, regulatory matters, corporate transactions, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including but not limited to, contracts, dismissals, employee benefits, discrimination, restructuring, and health and safety.
  • Providing strategic advice on international labour law matters, including managing cross-border employment disputes and compliance.
  • Supporting clients through complex negotiations, dispute resolutions, and litigation.
  • Working on mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations from an employment law perspective, including due diligence and post-transaction integration.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment policies, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Keeping clients informed of legal developments and providing training on key issues.
  • Working closely with colleagues across different jurisdictions on multi-disciplinary matters.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Employment and Labour law.
  • Strong technical knowledge of French and European employment law.
  • Experience with both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including cross-border employment issues.
  • A track record of advising clients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English and French / English.
  • Strong academic background and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
