Checkout.com, based in Paris, is seeking a talented and dynamic Legal Counsel with strong French employment law background to join our Employment Legal team. You will advise on the full spectrum of employment law issues across our French business and support broader global initiatives, especially across EMEA.

You'll collaborate with our People Team and stakeholders in France and internationally, handling labor code compliance, works council consultations, restructurings, and settlements, with a

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in French employment law, in-house or at a law firm.
• Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
• Comfortable working in Paris with a hybrid policy (3 days/week in office).

Mansioni

• Provide guidance on the full spectrum of French employment law issues and support global initiatives across EMEA.
• Advise on works council consultations, collective negotiations, restructurings, and pre-litigation strategy.
• Draft policies, templates, and procedures; monitor regulatory developments and minimize risk.
