FRENCH SELECTION (FS) seeks a French and German speaking Technical Sales Manager to drive growth across France and Germany. The role is home-based with field activity, totaling around 60% travel, and up to 40% remote work.

You will manage key customer and distributor relationships, lead project activities, prepare quotations, and build the European sales pipeline. Fluent French and German plus strong English are essential, with a proven B2B technical sales track record.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to €70,000 per annum depending on experience + bonus + car allowance

Main Duties:

To manage key customer and distributor relationships across established European export markets, while identifying new business opportunities and driving sustainable growth.

The Role:

• Manage and grow relationships with key customers and business partners in the DACH and French regions, with potential to expand into additional European territories
• Take ownership of designated projects throughout the sales process, working closely with project managers to meet customer requirements.
• Travel to visit clients on-site for meetings, exhibitions, product demonstrations and industry events (up to 60% of the time for the first year)
• Support with quotations and tender documents where required
• Record customer visits and outcomes in the CRM system, and prepare sales forecasts and reports
• Analyse competitor activity and market intelligence to identify new opportunities, build sales pipeline and increase market share

The Candidate:

• Fluent in French and German (written and spoken) with strong English - Essential
• Proven experience in B2B technical sales (electric or electronic backgrounds preferred)
• Strong track record of maintaining existing accounts and developing new business
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Well organised, with good CRM, reporting and pipeline management skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel extensively across Europe with a full driving licence.
• Based in either Eastern France or Western Germany for an easy commute across the designated territory

The salary:
