Qualifikationen

• 5 years of experience in Ruby (Rails) backend development.
• Ability to conceive the technical design of a complex product feature.
• Experience on a rapidly growing product; knowledge of architectural models of large scale web apps.
• Experience working in an Agile environment like Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in API development and knowledge of resilience, scalability and security constraints.
• Fluent in English.
• Desire to work on longer term technical challenges & accomplish them.

About the role

Integrated into our talented Engineering Team, you’ll work within one of our feature squads on creating a scalable and efficient product which consistently meets the needs of our clients. You’ll work on collaborative topics such as designing new features & functionalities, implementation, development and even testing the application.

Trustpair’s engineering team works with the latest technologies, as a Cellular Organization, meaning we reshape and adapt to ensure our teams stay autonomous, independent and have impact on the decisions made.

This is a freelance contract, open to candidates basedin the EU.

• Take the lead in creating innovative features by following best practices and maintaining exceptional code quality

• Keep a finger on the pulse of the technology landscape. Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, and be proactive in recommending relevant improvements to our existing stack

• Champion engineering excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Lead by example in practices such as code reviews, Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, writing clean and maintainable code, etc

Must‑Haves:
