Voodoo, a Paris-based consumer tech game studio, seeks a part-time UI/Unity designer to craft scalable UI and 3D assets for mobile titles. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, shaping live ops and player engagement across a new prototype studio.

You’ll design, implement, and refine UI within Unity, maintain a UI Style Bible, and contribute to gameplay accessibility. Flexible, creative environment with impact across millions of players awaits.

Qualifications

• Strong Unity skills and the ability to implement and optimise directly in-engine.
• Excellent 3D design skills with strong visual hierarchy, composition and readability.
• Solid UI experience in mobile games or apps.
• Awareness of emerging mobile game trends and how to apply them creatively.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional remote teams.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Support Lead Artist in ideation and execution of the game vision.
• Design and implement high-quality, scalable UI in Unity.
• Create and maintain a UI Style Bible and reusable component libraries.
• Create high-quality 3D assets and optimise for mobile devices.
• Setup, integrate, and animate UI scenes in Unity.
• Collaborate with Game Designers to align UI with gameplay and accessibility goals.
• Improve and work on LiveOps.
• Iterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data.
• Propose creative ideas to boost player engagement and UX.
