A leading cloud service provider in Île-de-France seeks an Area Specialist Leader to lead a team of experts in technical sales and customer engagement. The role involves significant interaction with C-suite executives, driving pipeline growth and strategic partnerships while overseeing diverse specialist resources across AWS products. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical sales background and experience in cloud technologies.
The Area Specialist Leader leads a team of deep domain specialists across AWS Products and Services. This team partners with the local sales team to accelerate AWS cloud adoption across services, solutions, workloads, and AWS offerings. The role reports to the Area leader and is responsible for planning Area-wide specialist resource investments and customer adoption plans for current and future services. The Specialist team engages in field motions with deep domain expertise in areas including Gen AI, High Performance Computing, Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, and Analytics, and conducts cross-service C-level conversations and motions toward Application Modernization, Business Transformation through technology, and AI/ML adoption. The Director of Specialist Organization for the Area will have revenue responsibility while leading a direct and cross-functional team of Sales, Business Development, and Solution Architect. The team also acts as an important feedback ingestion point from customers in the Area to feed the product and services roadmap at AWS.
You will lead domain-based discussions with C-suite executives and play a critical role in capturing the voice of the customer and sharing it with the Worldwide Specialist Organization to influence technology roadmaps and go-to-market strategy. This role contributes to overall business performance globally, measured by revenue growth, net new customers, and product/service influence. You will have experience as a leader of leaders with significant multi-vertical Area exposure and a track record of overachievement with relationships in large enterprises (e.g., F1000 and/or G2000 or similarly recognized organizations).
