France & Monaco Accountant – VAT, AR/AP & Payroll

Acquera Yachting is seeking an experienced accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable for the France and Monaco entity. You will issue, check and record client invoices, process supplier invoices and support monthly closings.

Key tasks include bank reconciliations, VAT returns, payroll support and maintaining compliant accounting records across French and Monegasque requirements. Fluent French and English are required; Italian a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with French and Monegasque accounting practices advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier/customer invoices and discrepancies.
• Handle day-to-day payments, salaries, social security contributions and related payments.
• Maintain up-to-date general ledger and ensure compliance with French and Monegasque rules.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions and perform regular reconciliations.
