The Role:
We are seeking a Reporter to join ION Analytics’ Paris Bureau, focusing on French M&A and private equity activity for Mergermarket.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a financial news reporter, with a strong investigative focus.
Our new France reporter will focus on uncovering scoops and providing analysis on late-stage startups’ growth and exit strategies, as well as SME and family-owned business succession, particularly within key regional industries such as the aerospace supply chain, agrifood, wellness, luxury, and retail.
Fluency in French, excellent English writing skills, strong contact-building abilities, and a proactive, collaborative attitude are essential for this role.
The candidate will join a global network of over 350 ION Analytics journalists, working within a fast-paced team to produce scoops on significant deals involving listed and private targets across France and Europe, along with providing breaking news and analysis throughout the deal cycle.
