New Balance in Paris is seeking a Finance professional to support the France Tax and Regional teams, leading month-end close, statutory filings and audits. You will partner with the France Finance Manager to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

The role emphasizes tax reporting, transfer pricing, VAT declarations, and continuous improvement of accounting controls, with collaboration across regional teams. Fluency in French and English and a minimum five years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance/accounting; accounting focus is preferred.
• Accounting qualification (DSCG/DEC) is desirable.
• Experience with French tax regulations is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead year-end audit, financial statements, and statutory submissions.
• Manage month- and year-end close, postings, and reporting deadlines.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Support transfer pricing, VAT declarations, and other statutory tax filings.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting controls and policies across local GAAP and group guidelines.
• Provide leadership to the finance team in a collaborative environment.
