Description of the position

As a Maintenance Technician (H/F/X), you contribute to the proper functioning of all hotel equipment and technical installations. You ensure technical monitoring and compliance of rooms and lounges to guarantee client safety and comfort. You follow intervention schedules throughout the establishment in coordination with the Technical Manager and adhere to current procedures, especially regarding equipment maintenance and cleanliness.

Main missions and responsibilities include:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel technical installations (plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, etc.);
  • Anticipate and resolve any malfunctions of technical installations;
  • Implement corrective action plans provided by your Technical Manager;
  • Maintain and repair hotel furnishings such as carpets, wallpaper, paint, false ceilings, carpentry, and room upkeep;
  • Maintain and repair small equipment like safes, locks, minibars, and projectors;
  • Follow up on work orders assigned by the Technical Manager until completion;
  • Communicate information clearly, efficiently, and professionally to your manager;
  • Be knowledgeable about hotel services, inform clients about them, encourage their use, and direct them to the appropriate service for reservations;
  • Collaborate closely with other hotel departments such as Reception, Room Service, and Housekeeping.

Qualifications

  • Technical training in maintenance (Bac Pro or equivalent);
  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment;
  • Skills in electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and SPA hydraulic systems;
  • Autonomous, responsive, methodical, flexible, service-oriented, and a great team player;
  • Proficiency in French is essential; English is a plus.
