NES Fircroft invites applications for the role of FPSO Telecom Lead to guide telecom activities across a major deepwater project. The position requires oversight of telecom during detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up phases, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and operability standards.

Location includes France, with subsequent assignments in Singapore and Geoje (South Korea) for up to 18 months each, starting October 2026.

• Oversee the telecom discipline for the entire project during detailed engineering and construction phases.
• Ensure telecom design, procurement and installation meet company requirements, safety and regulatory standards.
• Drive execution to meet schedule and budget while maintaining HSE compliance.

Location: France for 12-24 Months then up to 18 months in Singapore, up to 18 months in Geoje – South Korea.

Overview

To be the Lead engineer in telecom within thecompany during the detailed engineering and procurement , construction, commissioning and start-up phase , supporting a major deepwater water project

Key Responsibilities

• To oversee the follow up and supervision of the telecom discipline for the whole project (including plant, accommodation camp and airstrip) during the detailed engineering phase of the project


• To ensure that the design and procurement and installation of telecom components comply with company requirements –design, maintainability, operability, safety practices - applicable regulations and good engineering practices.


• To ensure, within its own discipline, that the overall objectives of the project are fulfilled, in particular execution within schedule and budget.


• Promote & comply in all activities with applicable safety instructions and other company HSE rules.
