Job summary

Altea Energy in Paris, France is seeking a highly experienced FPSO Technical Safety Engineer to support the Technical Safety Lead across the detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of a major FPSO development. You will guide the EPC contractor to meet company specifications, regulations, and international standards for Topsides and Hull facilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field with minimum required professional experience.
• Experience with FPSO projects and EPC execution is essential.
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Safety Engineering scope across the project.
• Review safety deliverables during detailed design and ensure compliance with specs, codes, and classification society requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP/TRA) and ensure ALARP risk reduction.
• Integrate safety into FPSO design and manage interfaces with other disciplines.
• Support contractor management, technical queries, and progress reporting.
• Promote HSE policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
