Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years as a Static Equipment/PVV Engineer in oil & gas/offshore sectors.
• Experience on FPSO/offshore facilities or major EPC/EPCI projects preferred.

FPSO Static Engineer | Paris, Singapore & South Korea | 12-Month Renewable Contract (Up to 4 Years thereafter)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced FPSO Static Engineer to join a major international offshore energy development on an initial 12-month renewable contract, with potential project duration extending up to 4 years.

This position offers the chance to be involved from detailed engineering through construction on a technically challenging FPSO development, while gaining exposure to multiple global project hubs including Paris, Singapore, and South Korea.

Working within an international and multicultural project environment, you will play a key role in overseeing the design, fabrication, testing, and construction of critical static equipment systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Static Engineer on all static equipment engineering activities.
• Review and monitor detailed engineering for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems and valves.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, industry standards and company procedures.
• Provide timely review and technical comments on contractor engineering deliverables.
• Evaluate and respond to technical queries related to static equipment.
• Coordinate closely with Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Safety disciplines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and technical workshops.
• Build strong working relationships with engineering contractors and equipment vendors.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure engineering modifications are correctly implemented.
• Witness and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and vendor inspections.
• Verify critical pressure vessels and static equipment at vendor facilities.
• Ensure delivery of accurate as-built documentation.
• Support construction activities and troubleshooting during installation and commissioning phases.
• Promote the highest standards of HSE, quality and ethical conduct throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Static Equipment, Pressure Vessel or PVV Engineer within the Oil & Gas, Offshore, LNG, FPSO, Petrochemical or Energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems and associated international codes and standards.
• Previous experience on FPSO, offshore production facilities or major EPC/EPCI projects is highly desirable.
• Experience reviewing and managing engineering contractor deliverables.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• French language skills are advantageous.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural international project environment.
