SeaOwl Group seeks an experienced Planning Engineer to develop and maintain integrated project schedules spanning engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning in a demanding offshore context.

You will supervise junior planners, monitor contractor progress, manage interfaces across packages, and deliver dashboards and KPI reporting for internal and external stakeholders, in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and scheduling oil & gas projects, FPSO or offshore.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of EPSCC project phases and interfaces.
  • Experience supervising junior planners and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment.

Responsabilités

  • Define and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and planning tools in compliance with project control requirements
  • Review and validate contractor schedules, progress measurement methodologies, and reporting deliverables
  • Integrate contractor schedules into the overall project master schedule and monitor deviations and impacts
  • Prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and planning KPIs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with cost control, contract, and engineering teams to ensure consistency in planning data and reporting
  • Provide planning input to change order evaluations, risk assessments, and project reviews
  • Mentor and support the Planning Engineer in daily planning tasks and development.

MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
  • Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Supervise and guide the Planning Engineer to ensure alignment with project control procedures and reporting standards.
  • Monitor contractor schedules and progress reports, ensuring timely updates and accurate forecasting.
  • Identify planning interfaces and risks across disciplines and packages, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Support project decision-making through schedule simulations, progress analysis, and scenario planning.
ACTIVITIES

  • Position permanently based in EPSCC Contractor premises.
  • Frequent mission aboard.
DURATION / LOCATION
  • Starting date: September 2026 (subject to project FID)
  • Duration: 1 year to 4 years after FPSO contract Award
  • Renewable: Yes
  • Location: At Contractor engineering and Construction site
  • Status: Residential
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
