We are partnering with TotalEnergies Angola on a major project in the oil and gas industry to recruiting for an FPSO Lead Structural Engineer. Your expertise will drive the successful execution of offshore structural engineering activities.

Initially based in contractor office in Paris, you will thereafter be based in Nantong, China for field engineering activities.

Role Overview

• Supervise and coordinate topsides structural engineering activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor and the yard.
• Manage interface with Hull and monitor FPSO Topsides weight evolution. Analyse the weight control report and report to Engineering Manager.
• Position will evolve to field engineering role from January 2026 in yard in China
• Challenge and support the Contractor in value engineering exercises to optimize cost, work, and schedule.
• Timely review and comment on engineering documents related to structural and weight deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, FPSO Key Technical Requirements, and high HSE standards.
• Conduct studies for technical decision-making and issue recommendations to Project Management.
• Assist Procurement activities and support Commissioning and Operations preparation.
• Participate in Project technical reviews and ensure timely implementation of findings.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in structural engineering for offshore activities in oil & gas projects.
• Rigorous and solution-oriented expertise.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
  
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications in structural engineering highly advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore structural engineering.
