IOTA GROUP, Paris-based, seeks an FPSO 3D Model Specialist to coordinate, review and manage the project 3D model through engineering, construction, fabrication, integration and handover phases.

You will ensure quality, constructability and operability of the model, support interdisciplinary coordination, clash detection, model reviews, progress tracking, and the preparation of reliable project deliverables for a major FPSO offshore EPC program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in 3D model coordination on FPSO projects.
• Strong knowledge of FPSO engineering deliverables and topsides layouts.
• Fluent English; French language is a plus.

We are currently looking for an FPSO 3D Model Specialist to support a major FPSO / offshore EPC project.

Job Description

The FPSO 3D Model Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, and following up on the project 3D model throughout engineering, construction preparation, fabrication, integration, and handover phases.

The role will contribute to the technical quality, consistency, constructability, operability, and maintainability of the 3D model, while supporting interdisciplinary coordination, clash detection, model reviews, progress monitoring, and the preparation of reliable project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for 3D model coordination within the assigned FPSO scope
• Support the preparation, organization, and follow-up of interdisciplinary 3D model reviews
• Review the 3D model and associated deliverables to identify inconsistencies, missing information, clashes, and constructability issues
• Coordinate model review comments with discipline engineers and ensure follow-up until close-out
• Ensure interfaces between disciplines and FPSO areas are correctly reflected in the model
• Monitor model maturity, review cycles, comments, technical issues, and close-out status
• Support layout reviews for process, utilities, E&I, safety systems, piping, structures, and offshore / marine interfaces
• Challenge model maturity from a fabrication, integration, offshore hook-up, and commissioning readiness perspective
• Support the preparation of review reports, comment registers, clash reports, action logs, and progress updates
• Provide regular reporting on model status, risks, priorities, and outstanding actions

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in 3D model coordination, layout / model review on major FPSO projects
• Significant experience on FPSO projects is strongly preferred, ideally during detailed engineering, fabrication preparation, integration, or execution phases
• Strong understanding of 3D model review processes, clash detection, and interdisciplinary coordination
• Good knowledge of FPSO engineering deliverables, topsides layouts, piping arrangements, equipment layouts, safety studies, and model-based design workflows
• Good command of 3D review and engineering tools
• Engineering degree, technical diploma, or equivalent relevant experience
• Fluent English is mandatory; French would be an advantage
• Structured, rigorous, proactive, and comfortable working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary project environment
