Harmattan AI is seeking an FPGA Engineer to design and implement real-time DSP datapaths for EW/SIGINT applications. You will own RTL for the signal chain, collaborating with RF hardware and embedded software teams to move concepts to silicon and lab validation.

The role requires a MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with strong RTL experience, and hands-on work with SoC FPGAs, MATLAB/Simulink and HLS is a plus. Paris-area location, on-site work.

Qualifications

• Strong RTL design background in VHDL or SystemVerilog for signal-processing datapaths is mandatory.
• Solid DSP fundamentals: sampling, mixing, decimation, filter design, FFT, and fixed-point arithmetic.
• Hands-on experience with SoC FPGAs and their toolchains.
• Lab experience with RF instrumentation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• RTL Design & Implementation: design signal-processing datapaths in VHDL/SystemVerilog from specification to validation.
• Real-Time DSP in Fabric: implement detection, direction-finding, classification and waveform generation within latency budgets.
• RF & Data Converter Interfacing: own the digital interface to high-speed converters and synchronization paths.
• Hardware/Software Partitioning: define split between programmable logic and embedded processors.
