FPGA Application Engineer - Paris/ Toulouse

Job Description:

Two roles are available, one in Paris and one in Toulouse.

I am seeking an application engineer to join a team based in France, working within both software and hardware development teams. The company is a Canadian enterprise specializing in the production and application of advanced materials and technologies incorporating graphene.

Their unique process of exfoliating graphene allows them to produce high-quality graphene at a relatively low cost compared to traditional methods. They utilize this graphene to create various materials, such as composites and energy storage devices, used to enhance products across industries like aerospace, automotive, and consumer electronics.

The company has received recognition for their innovative technology, including awards in cleantech and automotive innovation.

The role includes:

• Supporting clients in analyzing first-level requests
• Qualifying the nature and priority of client requests quickly
• Analyzing reported malfunctions to identify the root cause, independently or with internal support
• Collaborating closely with Software, Hardware, and Commercial teams
• Ensuring the quality of responses to customers
• Following up on requests to meet deadlines
• Contributing to customer satisfaction
• Sharing customer feedback with internal teams for service and process improvements
• Following, documenting, and improving support procedures
• Documenting responses and actions to enrich the internal knowledge base

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Engineering
• Fluent in English
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, Python, VHDL/Verilog, FPGA
