Evaneos in Paris is seeking a Senior FP&A to own the Marketplace P&L and turn numbers into clear guidance for teams and the executive committee.

You will lead reporting, budgets, forecasts, and business partnering with cross-functional teams, using Omni/Claude for automation, and presenting fluent French and English insights to leadership.

We’re recruiting an FP&A Senior who is as comfortable building the numbers as presenting them. Your mission? You take over the Marketplace reporting, dig into variances and make finance easy to read for the teams and the executive committee.

The FP&A team

The FP&A team supports reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business decisions. The whole team relies on up-to-date tools (Omni, Claude, etc.) to cut manual work, keep data reliable and spend more time on high-value tasks.

You report to Pierre, Head of FP&A, who reports to Benoît, our CFO. With Maxime, FP&A Junior, you form a team of three. Together, you cover Evaneos’ two activities: the Marketplace (B2C) and our SaaS (B2B). In this role, you focus on the B2C side.

Day to day, you’re the finance point of contact for Marketplace teams (Marketing, Supply, Tech, HR, Accounting and Legal). Also, you meet regularly with executive committee members on their budget and cost monitoring.

Your role as FP&A Senior

Reporting & analysis

• You produce the monthly Marketplace reporting, on time and in the expected formats and reconcile the management and statutory views with the Accounting team.

• You analyze the variances between actual results, budget and forecast across the full Marketplace P&L (revenue, direct costs, marketing costs and HR costs), and turn them into clear management comments.

• You monitor marketing costs with an ROI approach, by channel (SEA, branded acquisition, SEO, partners, display, coupons, etc.) and by market (FR, ES, IT, DACH, NL), together with the Marketing teams.

• You monitor the recruitment plan and its financial impact with the HR team.

• You manage large, complex cost files (such as payroll and marketing costs), mainly in Google Sheets, and check every figure before sharing it.

Budget & forecast

• From file modeling to meeting preparation, you prepare the annual budget for the Marketplace’s Marketing and HR costs: you frame the assumptions with budget owners and run the meetings.

• You prepare the Q2, Q3 and Q4 forecasts on the same scope, to adjust targets and the year-end landing based on what has happened since January and future business / product initiatives. These cycles last two to four weeks each, with around 20 stakeholders across the company.

• You contribute to the final budget and forecast presentations.

Business partnering

• You act as a business partner to operational teams: you give them financial insights and visibility on their scope, monitor and challenge their costs, and help improve cross-functional processes.

• You hold regular meetings with executive committee members on their budget, and explain figures clearly to non-finance colleagues, in French and English.

Tools & automation

• You improve and automate FP&A processes: faster reporting and analysis, fewer manual tasks, and daily use of automation and AI tools (Omni, Claude, etc.). Evaneos asks you to dedicate time to AI automation.

What we’re looking for

You may be a great fit for this position if:

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, management control (contrôle de gestion) or Transaction Services, ideally in a marketplace, e-commerce or start-up / scale-up (audit experience is a plus).
• You master management P&L analysis, and you love data to dig deeper into your analyses and automate your processes.
• You have already built budgets and forecasts, and tracked marketing costs with an ROI approach.
• You are autonomous on large, complex files (Google Sheets first, Excel, Google Slides) and have used an ERP or reporting tool.
• You are rigorous: your figures are accurate, consistent and checked before you share them.
• You work autonomously with a wide range of stakeholders, explain figures clearly to non-finance colleagues and present your conclusions to leadership with confidence.
• You are fluent in French and English.
