Job summary

Naboo.app in Paris is seeking a Master’s degree student for a Finance/FP&A internship. You will work closely with Paul, the FP&A Manager, to support monthly closing, cost allocations, and accruals while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will help develop management reports, monitor international subsidiaries, and build dashboards for decision‑making. Fluent FR/EN, advanced Excel skills, and an interest in automation will help you succeed; the internship may lead to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree student in Finance/Control or equivalent required.
• First experience in FP&A, management control, audit, or accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing and ensure accuracy of P&L allocations.
• Contribute to management reporting and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Assist in tracking payroll costs and international subsidiaries' performance.

Job description

You will report to Paul, Naboo FP&A Manager.

Monthly closing & accounting accuracy

• Review and validate employee expense reports
• Ensure accurate analytical allocation of costs and revenues (cost centers, business units, entities, markets)
• Apply accrual-based reasoning: identify and book all off-ledger entries (accruals, invoices to be received, prepaid expenses…) to ensure a complete and accurate monthly P&A

Reporting & performance management

• Contribute to the monthly management reporting and its budget vs. actual analysis
• Monitor the performance of our international subsidiaries
• Track payroll costs and hiring plans in a context of strong international growth
• Maintain and update the payplan dashboards used to calculate and track variable compensation
• Build performance dashboards for our business partners to support decision‑making and performance tracking. Participate to monthly or quarterly business reviews.
• Contribute to the progressive automation of reporting processes using existing tools

Background & Experience

• Master’s degree student (Bac+4/5): Business school (majoring in Finance/Control), engineering school, or equivalent university degree
• A first experience in FP&A, management control, audit, transaction services or accounting is required

Technical skills

• You speak fluent French and English, both written and spoken
• Solid fundamentals in management and general accounting: accruals, cut‑off, analytical allocation, P&L structure
• Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts: P&L interpretation, budget vs. actual analysis, KPI tracking
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Curiosity for automation tools and AI applied to finance (Claude in Excel, etc.). This skills will be assessed during the hiring process.
