What you'll craft

You’ll take ownership of the product design of Piston, ensuring high-quality craft level delivered to the end-user.

1. Create low-fidelity visuals to reduce risk and facilitate discussion on concrete artifacts before resource commitment.
2. Create mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate projects and support implementation by the tech team.
3. Lead projects from end to end, working in pair with a tech lead, without a product manager intermediary.
4. Design with an AI-native mindset, focusing on human-machine interactions for seamless AI integration and ambient user experience.
5. Lay the groundwork for welcoming new product designers.
6. Maintain and improve our lightweight design system.
