What you'll craft

You’ll take ownership of the product design of Piston, ensuring the craft level delivered to the end-user is top-notch.

• Create low-fidelity visuals to reduce risk and facilitate discussions on concrete artifacts before committing resources.
• Create mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate projects and provide implementation materials for the tech team.
• Lead projects from end to end, in collaboration with a tech lead, without a product manager in between.
• Design with an AI-native mindset, focusing on seamless human-machine interactions to make AI feel ambient and integrated.
• Lay the groundwork for welcoming new product designers.
• Maintain and improve our lightweight design system.

• Use of AI tools to accelerate work and focus on craft and user understanding.
• Boldness to step outside comfort zones, experiment, and embrace challenges.
