Job summary

Alignerr, powered by Labelbox, is seeking experienced forestry and land management scientists to help shape AI understanding of forest ecosystems and sustainable land use. This remote, hourly contract offers 10–40 hours per week and flexible scheduling for independent contributors.

You will review AI training content, assess accuracy on forest health and planning topics, and provide clear feedback to improve AI reasoning. No prior AI experience required, and ongoing work is possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in forestry or land management.
• Strong working knowledge of forest ecosystems and sustainable management practices.
• Ability to critically evaluate environmental decision-making scenarios.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in forestry, land management, or a closely related field
• Strong working knowledge of forest ecosystems and sustainable management practices
• Able to critically evaluate applied environmental decision-making scenarios
• Comfortable reading and assessing technical written content
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• Experience with land-use planning, conservation programs, or regulatory frameworks
• Familiarity with AI systems or content evaluation workflows
