Job Description:

EcoSure - a division of Ecolab and an industry leader in food safety and brand protection, is rapidly expanding globally. We are looking for part-time Freelance Food Safety & Brand Standard Auditors, based in Strasbourg.

Our specialists are safety experts relied upon by clients in the food service and hospitality industry. We provide on-site evaluations and training to help clients uphold high standards in food safety, cleanliness, guest experience, and brand protection. These programs assist clients in meeting their quality standards through evaluations and tailored training.

What you will do:

• Conduct food safety, brand standards, and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations
• Consult, coach, and train clients on current food safety, health, and hygiene practices
• Collaborate with account management teams to resolve client challenges
• Perform a set number of audits weekly to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Access and utilize industry-leading food safety practices and monitor health inspection information
• Provide accurate reports and maintain effective customer communication and relationships

Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in food science or related field
• Food safety certifications preferred (e.g., HACCP, ISO22000, BRC, NEHA credentials)
• Experience in retail food safety and brand standards review
• Teaching or coaching experience in food-related fields
• Strong relationship management and consulting skills
• Excellent planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and solve problems effectively
• Work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Level 4 Food Safety qualification
• Fluent in French and English
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in food service or hospitality, or relevant industry experience
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license
• No immigration sponsorship available

This position involves independent consulting in partnership with Ecolab.
