Green Oaks Country Club, located in Verona, Pennsylvania, managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring Food and Beverage Servers. The club features a beautifully manicured Donald Ross-designed 18-hole, par 71 golf course.

Responsibilities include:

  • Presenting menus, answering questions, and making menu recommendations
  • Using the point of sale system and placing orders with the kitchen
  • Attending all pre-meal meetings
  • Reporting any complaints to the supervisor
  • Handling cash accurately and reconciling receipts at the end of the day
  • Following safe work practices and food handling standards
  • Completing side-work such as delivering racks of cups, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, and cleaning

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Legal age to serve alcohol (varies by state)
  • All necessary certifications and licenses as per local health and alcohol regulations
  • Ability to enforce company policies and legal regulations regarding alcohol consumption

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The physical demands include:

  • Walking, sitting, standing for long periods, bending, using hands, talking, hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and vision requirements
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally, including overhead lifting and pushing/pulling lighter objects

The work environment may involve:

  • Indoor conditions that may be warm
  • Proximity to grills and fryers
  • Frequent loud noise levels
