Jobtailor is seeking an engineering lead for immersive simulation tools within the Methods team. You will drive deployment of technologies, define standards, and ensure proper validation from implementation through operation.

The role emphasizes optimizing manufacturing processes, leading interdisciplinary teams, and advancing digital twins with a strong lean/APQP foundation. Aerospace manufacturing context is expected.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in Electronics or Industrial Methods.
  • Proven industrial experience in optimizing production flows.
  • Strong expertise in flow optimization and industrial process digitalization.
  • Genuine interest in flow simulation, digital twins, virtual reality and augmented reality.
  • Good knowledge of aerospace products and manufacturing technologies (assembly, electronics, mechanical, etc.).
  • Proficiency in production line design and optimization techniques and associated Lean tools.
  • Solid knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D methodology, 5 Whys, Kaizen, etc.) and APQP methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

  • Join the Methods team and serve as the engineering lead for immersive simulation tools.
  • Support local methods teams in deploying technologies.
  • Define technology standards for processes from implementation through operation.
  • Ensure validation and effective implementation of standards.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities in flow architecture to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Propose and implement structuring and development initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain technological watch on simulation processes and related technologies.
  • Oversee the implementation of digital twins and manage integrators and suppliers.
