Engineering Digital Twins (EDT) seeks a Technical Lead for a 5-year national research project to steer the engineering and delivery of a cutting-edge web platform for digital twins. You will drive the technical vision, coordinate with partner teams, and establish APIs for integration.

The role requires leadership of large-scale software programs, expertise in modern web architectures, and experience with MBSE, AI, and data streaming. Occasional travel within France may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale software projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern web architectures, microservices, containerization, and cloud orchestration.
• Experience with agile project management, DevOps, and data streaming technologies (Kafka, MQTT).

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for a cloud-native web platform for digital twins.
• Lead and mentor multiple teams through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Coordinate with research partners to integrate components and establish APIs for external tool and device integration.
• Track milestones, manage risks, and ensure security, scalability and reliability.
