Job Description :

Airbus Commercial Aircraft recruits a Flight Test Development Quality Inspector, specialized in Flight Line Testing / Quality. This is a permanent position based on the outskirts of Toulouse.

You will work in a flight test environment, on developmental aircraft (Design Organization Approval, DOA). It involves a multi-program organization. You will be part of the runway organization, which includes production, quality, planning, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and technical support functions.

The main deliverables of the team are: flight release, testing phases, and maintenance management. You will report hierarchically and operationally to a QOM (Quality Operational Manager).

Your main interfaces will include: Production Group (Team Leaders, Blue Collars, Support Tech, Support Log), MAP (Test Setup), Test Flight Engineers (TFE).

Your role combines three professions: Quality Inspector, Test Technician, and Ground Test Engineer.

YOUR CHALLENGES

Your key activities include, and require mastery of,:

• Ground testing procedures
• Troubleshooting
• Retry testing (RTI)
• Level 1 fault diagnosis
• Software loading
• Starting the APU (pre-requisite: cf WD2950.02.016)
• Inspection
• Control of SI application (Special Instructions), including flight test instrumentation
• Operational maintenance
• Pre/post flight activities
• Assessment / feedback on documentation / aircraft operation
• Monitoring / PPS
• Global missions worldwide

Additional qualifications :

• Hazardous area permit + drone basics are a plus
• Electrical certification HAB ELEC AVION B1V, confined space (including ATEX), working at heights, machinery operation required
