Airbus SAS in Toulouse is seeking a Full Flight Simulator Maintenance Technician to support Training Devices Operations. You will work with instructors and customers to ensure high reliability of simulators and proper troubleshooting of IT and electronic issues, including outside normal hours.

The role requires 2/5 weekend coverage, 3–5 years in flight simulator environments, and knowledge of Airbus flight systems, Windows Server and Linux. An Eng. level English is expected.

Qualifications

• Bac+2/+3 in Aeronautics, IT or automatisation (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of experience in Flight Simulator preferred.
• Experience in networks, Windows Server, Linux; knowledge of Airbus flight systems.
• Understand customer needs.
• English at intermediate level.
• Ability to work on shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night; 2/5 weekends).

Responsabilités

• Ensure operation and maintenance tasks of Training Devices to meet Airbus standards for reliability and MTBF.
• Perform technical troubleshooting during simulator interventions (IT and electronics) with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical support outside regular hours.
• Prepare efficient reports for other teams and managers.
• Ensure training centre continuity outside normal hours when Team Leader is absent.
• Keep devices up to date with relevant updates.
