Flight Dispatcher

Since 1978, our Group has been constantly growing and innovating to offer its customers increasingly efficient maritime, land, air, and logistics solutions. Driven by a strong desire to design ever more effective solutions to serve a world in motion, the Group launched CMA CGM AIR CARGO in 2021, thereby expanding its transport and logistics offering.

Already equipped with a fleet of 4 long-haul aircraft (1 A330F and 3 B777F), it will be further reinforced with eight Airbus A350Fs by 2027, making CMA CGM AIR CARGO the launch operator of this new aircraft. Moreover, thanks to support from a partner, AIR CARGO now operates on the transpacific route with two additional B777Fs, which we own.

As part of its development, CMA CGM AIR CARGO is looking for a Flight Dispatcher for its Operations Control Center (OCC).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Participate in CMA CGM AIR CARGO's flight operations within the Operations Control Center:

• Test and challenge the procedures and settings of the systems deployed in the OCC, suggest alternative solutions if necessary;
• Participate and support the OCC in the deployment of new business solutions;
• Collaborate with Flight Ops Engineering on a daily basis, in the support provided to the OCC as well as in the context of line studies.

2. Ensure the Dispatch of flights 24/7:

To promote a culture focused on flight safety, business performance, and on-time performance.

• Dispatch:

- Airport and enroute weather study;

- NOTAMs study;

- Consideration of technical condition of aircraft;

- Calculation of take-off and landing performances;

- Flight plan calculation and route optimization;

- Creation of the electronic flight file;

• Operations Control: Support of the Duty Officer during flight watch or in case of operational disruptions.

PROFILE:

• Graduated Operations Officer/Dispatcher from an aeronautical training organization (Dispatch licensing organization, French ENAC, Horizons Academy, ESMA, or equivalent), holder of a theoretical Airline Transport Pilot License, Air Traffic Controller, or Meteorologist qualification.
• You have a taste for operations and teamwork.
• Your analytical mind, ability to work under time pressure, curiosity, rigor, and tenacity will enable you to make the best decisions and contribute to the success of our air operations.
