The candidate will join the DataMove INRIA team located on the campus of the Univ. Grenoble Alpes near Grenoble. The DataMove team is a friendly and stimulating group with a strong international visibility, gathering Professors, Researchers, PhD and Master students all pursuing research on High Performance Computing.
This work is part of a joint collaboration with international industrial and academic partners.
Hiring date is flexible, starting as early as July 2024. The contract is for 8 months.

The job is within the BPI-funded OTPaas project, which develops middleware for edge computing architectures targeting medium-sized industrial companies. The consortium includes several industrial and academic partners, covering the entire stack from cryptographic protocols to high-level data analytics algorithms. The goal is to install this in factories to enhance French enterprise competitiveness.
The DataMove team's expertise in energy-aware task scheduling will be applied in OTPaaS to schedule tasks on Kubernetes clusters.
We seek a candidate to join the OTPaaS team for:
Required technical skills include Linux, Kubernetes, and a good understanding of development processes (git, continuous integration, containers, etc.). Experience working with industrial partners is a plus.
Benefits:
Salary starting from €3,085 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
