• Plan customer networks in both ACI and legacy environments.

Summary : The Firewall Specialist Consultant’s role aims to enhance and adjust existing network and firewall configurations following comprehensive health checks and internal assessments, ensuring optimal functionality of all connected components.

Main Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough reviews of all network and firewall devices based on manufacturers’ health checks.

Adjust configurations according to specific recommendations.

Ensure full functionality of all components and their interconnections.

Plan customer networks in both ACI and legacy environments.

Create low-level design documents based on ticket information.

Coordinate with various infrastructure teams (Windows, Unix, Database, Storage).

Develop service requests for the implementation of design documents.

Execute planned configurations as per the existing change process.

Perform quality assurance on configurations and troubleshoot issues as per the Client’s specifications.

Create and implement necessary changes.

Define and document network concepts (High-Level Design / Low-Level Design) according to the Client’s guidelines.

Key Requirements :

2nd to 3rd level skills with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls.

Relevant certifications in firewall management.

Knowledge of Cisco is desirable.

Proficiency in English and German.
