CONTEXT OF THE JOB:

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, responsible for budgeting, operational project assessment, performance analysis, and supporting operational teams.

This is a 6-month internship starting July 2024.

What you will do:

You will assist the Senior Financial Analyst in areas such as:

• Monthly closing:

> Assist with month-end financial reports (P&L, accruals, KPI)

> Prepare data inputs for revenue, royalties, and expenses calculations

> Provide ad hoc financial analysis

• P&L follow-up:

> Ensure analytical splits and analyze variations (budget, growth)

> Provide ad-hoc financial analysis

> Analyze new business opportunities

> Update business plans and provide monthly financial analysis

• Budget/Reforecast:

> Contribute to yearly forecasting process

> Update and maintain business plans

Qualifications:

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Is currently pursuing a Master’s degree, preferably in Finance
• Speaks French fluently
• Has excellent written and spoken skills in both French and English
• Is highly proficient in Excel (PowerPoint is a plus)
• Is self-motivated and able to work independently
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills
