The France FIG (Financial Institutions Group) Payments Team is a strategic sales and relationship management group responsible for managing relationships with FI (Financial Institutions) and Correspondent Banking clients in France. The team delivers the firm's Payments products, including treasury services, merchant services, liquidity, working capital, trade, commercial cards, transactional foreign exchange (FX), escrow, and more. As the client base's requirements and the global payments landscape evolve, the team adapts to support new business models and traditional companies reassessing their customer and payment strategies.

Job Summary

As a Vice President in the FIG Sales team, you will manage payments-related relationships with Correspondent Banking Clients. Your role involves maintaining and expanding the portfolio through the sale of treasury products, collaborating across J.P. Morgan to enhance product and service delivery, and developing strong client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve new business targets and sales goals by identifying prospects, developing approaches, and executing calling plans.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential new business, documenting progress and assumptions.
  • Maximize profitability through appropriate pricing, product extensions, and cross-selling other JPM products.
  • Partner with Payments Executives to execute sales strategies, maintain revenue streams, expand market share, and increase wallet share.
  • Conduct financial and market analyses to support new business proposals and team projects.
  • Manage client onboarding, including compliance reviews, KYC/AML responsibilities, and managing the compliance process.
  • Prepare client account plans, senior officer memos, and portfolio reports.
  • Support ongoing client strategies and coordinate cross-sell opportunities within the bank.
  • Address and escalate business issues related to risk, legal, and compliance, managing resolutions effectively.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Proven experience in financial services sales, particularly in payments services.
  • Ability to develop and deepen relationships with senior Correspondent Banking clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, discipline, initiative, and multi-tasking ability.
  • Excellent leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage risk, work with internal teams, and support balanced risk/reward relationships.
  • Experience working across cultures with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and focused on delivery and execution.
  • Fluent in verbal and written French in a business context.
