Financial & Equity Research Analyst – European Software, SaaS, AI and Deep Tech Universe

Location: Paris, France - Full time

Experience: 3 – 7 years

Start Date: ASAP

Language requirements: Fluent in English. French would be a plus, but not required.

The Role

BG IRIS is the knowledge leader for European growth sectors, part of Bryan Garnier, a leading independent growth investment bank. We serve clients in healthcare, technology, energy transition, and consumer sectors across US, Europe, and Asia. Our team provides deep industry insights and strong investor relationships.

We seek an analyst to cover the software, SaaS, AI, and deep tech sectors, analyzing listed companies and understanding the broader sector including private businesses. The role involves publishing research, insights, White Papers, and representing the firm in investor meetings, conferences, and media. The team covers software, IT services, fintech, digital media, and climate & industrial tech.

Main Tasks

1. Become a thought leader in software, SaaS, AI, and deep tech across markets.
2. Draft research reports on industry trends and companies, including investment recommendations.
3. Respond to inquiries from clients, sales, traders, and others.
4. Develop and maintain financial models.
5. Analyze large datasets for actionable insights.
6. Perform other duties as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Background in financial services covering software or tech, or in software/tech development, with interest in thought leadership in financial and equity research.
• Highly analytical with excellent communication skills, able to translate complex subjects into clear advice.
• Interest or experience in software, SaaS, ERP, CRM, DevOps, deep tech, AI, metaverse, cybersecurity, blockchain.
• Experience in financial analysis, investment banking, equity research, advisory, or accounting.
• Meticulous, strategic, and open-minded with project management skills.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus but not required.
