The ideal candidate is a finance leader with a proven track record in manufacturing, who is bilingual in French and English.

The Role: Finance Director (Country CFO)

Finatal has been retained by a top-tier Private Equity fund to appoint a high-impact Country CFO for a fast-growing, PE-backed manufacturing business in France.

With current Group revenues around €300m, this is a rare opportunity to take full P&L ownership of the French operations post carve-out (c. €50m revenue) and play a pivotal role in driving growth, performance, and value creation.

• Lead financial operations for the French entities, including reporting, cash flow, tax, audits, and banking.
• Provide strategic insights to Group CFO and support reporting to PE and debt stakeholders.
• Improve finance systems, processes, and KPI tracking.
• Act as Legal Entity Administrator, ensuring full compliance with local laws and governance.
• Oversee HR compliance, manage local HR team, and lead employee representative processes.
• Contribute to European growth strategy through planning, reporting, and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on yet strategic role for a commercially minded finance leader ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Requirements:

• Bilingual in French and English.
• Proven track record in Manufacturing / Industrials and ideally a good understanding of the Private Equity space.
