About the Team

We are seeking a QA Software Engineer to focus on ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our payments platform. You will design and execute test strategies, automate tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites, primarily for back-end systems.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Software Development, DevOps, and Security teams to support a fast-paced, iterative, and improving delivery process.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, performance, and security testing.
• Create and manage test cases, leveraging tools and frameworks for API and UI automation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.
• Identify, document, and track issues and defects, providing feedback to engineering teams.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of back-end services and APIs.

What you’ll bring

• Solid experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks, focusing on backend testing.
• Experience with Go language.
• Proficiency in testing APIs, including functional, integration, and security testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
• Knowledge of testing best practices, including TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as GitLab, Kubernetes (K8s), and AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, RDS).
• Nice to have: experience with banking and payment systems (e.g., SEPA, Swift).
