We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our Finance department. This role is pivotal in overseeing and establishing the Net Asset Values (NAV) of our retail-focused investment Funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight into fund performance. Your work will directly support investor reporting, audit coordination, and cross-department collaboration with investment and investor relations teams.

NAV Establishment & Fund Oversight:

  • Gather legal, financial, and accounting documentation to accurately establish the NAV of managed Funds.
  • Monitor the performance and activities of investment vehicles, including involvement in semi-annual valuation processes and legal compliance.


Financial Analysis & Fund Performance:

  • Perform detailed analysis including EBITDA adjustments, IRR, exit scenarios, performance ratios, and other KPIs.
  • Evaluate portfolio companies’ performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Act as the liaison with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and compliance with IFRS & US GAAP standards.
  • Support tax compliance (French and international), recharges, and reporting.

Collaborate with Investor Relations & other functions/departments.


Cross-Functional Support:
Present financial and legal information clearly and accurately to internal and external stakeholders.

Experience Required :

  • Minimum 5 years in financial controlling or audit, specifically within retail funds or retail-focused private equity firms
  • Previous exposure to retail fund operations and reporting frameworks is strongly preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Strong financial analysis capabilities with experience in valuation techniques and fund metrics.
  • Solid accounting foundation; familiarity with consolidation, multi-GAAP reporting, and fund structuring.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.
  • High level of autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Languages:

  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).

International experience would be a plus.
