The Commercial Real Estate & Infrastructure Fund Management Controlling Group at AXA IM – Real Assets seeks a Financial Controller – Loan Asset Management (CRE) to join either London or Paris office. The team leads in CRE debt with over $24bn AuMs across Europe and the US, with a 15-year track record. The ideal candidate has experience in real estate debt, such as in loan servicing, portfolio or asset management within banks or debt funds.

The role involves managing loans across different asset classes and geographies, from closing to restructuring, refinancing, and extensions. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners, adapting to evolving systems and controls.

Your responsibilities include:

Loan Asset Management: Monitoring performance, interest payments, covenants, valuations, cash flows, and operational aspects of financed assets.

Main duties:

• Support deal execution with financial analysis and modeling.
• Manage cash flows and distributions.
• Review property and financial reports.
• Coordinate with deal teams and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Contribute to valuation and investment decision processes.
• Prepare reports for investors and internal stakeholders.

Profile

We welcome diverse skills and experiences. Required qualifications include:

• Educational background in business, engineering, or university.
• 2-5 years in financial institutions, such as banks or asset managers.
• Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Knowledge of loan documentation, real estate debt, and advanced Excel/VBA skills are desirable.
