Qualifications

As a future Financial Controller, you will report to the Head of FMCG Real Estate & Infra equity open-ended funds and be part of AXA IM Financial Management and Controlling Group (FMCG).

The Financial Controller will be mainly responsible for managing financial, tax, reporting, and governance aspects of the investments. This includes active involvement in investment and divestment phases, financing, hedging, and structuring of investments.

The role involves coordinating the production of investor and regulatory reports and supporting investment performance monitoring, working closely with Fund Management and Asset Management teams. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential due to liaising with internal and external parties.

This position requires a proactive individual who can take initiative and communicate effectively.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports from external service providers (Corporate Managers, Corporate Secretary, Property Managers, Tax Advisors)
  2. Preparing and coordinating quarterly reports, investor and regulatory reports (annual, semi-annual, quarterly, monthly), and ad-hoc reports for management and boards
  3. Managing all accounting, reporting, tax, and governance aspects of all investment vehicles (Funds, Sicafs, SPVs)
  4. Coordinating with providers such as corporate managers, tax advisors, auditors, banks, legal, compliance, and risk managers
  5. Coordinating the budgeting process
  6. Monitoring performance metrics (variance analysis, asset performance, capex, rent arrears)
  7. Contributing to acquisition/disposal, financing, hedging, and structuring investments
  8. Participating in transversal projects and other assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business Administration
  • 2-3 years' experience in audit or financial control
  • Experience in real estate or asset management is desirable

  • Strong cross-cultural management and negotiation skills
