YOUR ROLE

Within the Group's Financial Control Department, you are responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and consistency of the financial information produced by the Group's agencies and subsidiaries managed in our internal shared service centers (GBS), in compliance with the account closing schedules.

You participate in the development and strengthening of the accounting processes of these subsidiaries and the associated financial internal control.

You interact daily with the management and teams of our accounting shared service centers (GBS), particularly in India, Lebanon, and China.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Monitor the production of the monthly accounts of the entities managed in GBS in coordination with the GBS Country Managers, the GBS Procure To Pay (PtP), Order To Cash (OtC), and Record To Report (RtR) teams, as well as the local teams.
  • Control the quality of the production of the monthly accounts of the entities managed in GBS: analytical reviews, accounting review files and balance sheet reconciliations, points of attention, and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Ensure the coordination and proper follow-up of requests with the GBS teams during statutory audits3.
  • Participate in the efficient implementation of Procure To Pay (PtP), Order To Cash (OtC), and Record To Report (RtR) accounting procedures and processes in our GBS. Ensure their proper application.
  • Participate in the optimal organization of our financial GBS and the constant improvement of the Group Core Model.
  • Participate in the accounting and financial transition of our autonomous subsidiaries within the group to our GBS.
  • Participate in ERP migrations for entities managed in GBS (decommission of Oracle and implementation of SAP or SAGE) and coordinate actions between the various stakeholders (subsidiaries, GBS team, project team...), particularly in problem resolution.
  • Participate in the definition of relevant KPIs and ensure their monitoring.
  • Ensure the homogeneity of accounting processes between the different GBS centers of the Group.
  • Participate in strengthening financial internal control in our GBS.
  • Ensure proper coordination between the various finance departments at headquarters and GBS management.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Graduated with a Master’s degree in finance, you have at least 10 years of experience in technical accounting and finance ideally acquired in an audit firm (Big 4), and experience within a large international group.
  • Recognized for your rigor, proactivity, and commitment, you are up to work in a large international group in constant evolution.
  • You demonstrate autonomy, synthesis skills, and are comfortable in problem-solving.
  • You know how to mobilize in project mode within a complex organization and have proven ability to work in a matrix model, maintaining relationships with key partners at various levels.
  • You have solid accounting and financial expertise, and compliance of the accounts makes sense to you.
  • Your English is fluent, as exchanges with our GBS centers are exclusively in English.
  • Very regular travel to our GBS centers is to be expected.
