This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Zyte. We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant in Europe.

Join a fast-growing global tech company and take on a key role in supporting the growth and scalability of financial operations. In this fully remote position, you will contribute to streamlining core accounting processes, managing financial systems, and ensuring accurate group consolidation across international entities. You'll work closely with senior finance leadership, helping to improve reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency in a dynamic, distributed environment. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive accountant eager to grow with a company on the rise.

Accountabilities:

  • Assist in daily accounting operations including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Support the transition from Xero to a more scalable ERP system by contributing to data migration, process redesign, and training.
  • Manage group consolidations and prepare timely, accurate financial statements for international entities.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to streamline billing and payment workflows.
  • Participate in cash management, handling multi-currency bank accounts and day-to-day treasury tasks.
  • Work with FP&A and Data Analytics teams to support reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis.
  • Ensure accounting activities comply with FRS102 and local regulations; support statutory audits and financial reporting.
  • Drive process improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and scalability within the finance function.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or ACA) with 3–5+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a SaaS or Tech environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in accounting systems such as Xero; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intact) is a strong advantage.
  • Solid grasp of multi-entity consolidation, general ledger management, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate in a remote, international team.
  • Based in Europe and available to work core CET hours; flexible for occasional meetings across time zones.
  • Background in a Big 4 accounting firm is desirable.
