Education :

• Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar insurance industry role; Big 4 audit experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of French and IFRS accounting standards, acquired through education and professional experience
• Good understanding of French taxes, PCG, and PCA (preferred)
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or S4/HANA is advantageous
• Proficient in Excel

Job Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Head of PBR & Accounting, with functional reporting to the Senior Accountant, your key duties include:

1. Preparation of statutory accounts for reinsurance (PCA) and service & management companies (PCG), including:
2. Collection and booking of provisions and accruals for quarterly closings
3. Preparation of annual financial statements and management reports

Interaction with Auditors :

You will liaise directly with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.

1. Collaboration with the Central Accounting Services (CAS) team in the UK and the SHIP Investment Accounting team, overseeing:
2. Accounting records and operational management
3. Investment accounting entries

Additional tasks involve:

• Monitoring accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and cash flows
• Preparing IFRS packages, reconciling intercompany accounts, and calculating deferred taxes

Tax Responsibilities :

• Producing consolidated tax packages and preparing tax returns (e.g., VAT, CFE, CVAE, C3S, DAS2)

Participation in various financial projects and ad hoc topics is also expected.
