Qualifications

Our job offers:

Within the Accounting team, you will report to the Head of PBR & Accounting, with a functional reporting to the Senior Accountant. You will oversee the accounting of reinsurance companies (Insurance chart of accounts) as well as service & management entities (General COA).

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts of reinsurance companies (PCA) and service & management companies (PCG), including collection, identification, booking of provisions and accruals, and preparing annual statements.
• Collaborating with the Central Accounting Services (CAS) team in the UK and the SHIP team for investment accounting, ensuring accuracy of accounting records, managing invoices, expenses, treasury activities, and preparing financial reports.
• Producing IFRS packages for reinsurance companies, including intercompany reconciliations and deferred taxes.
• Participating in tax-related activities, including preparing tax packages and filing various tax returns.
• Engaging in various projects and ad-hoc topics within the finance department.

Your Profile:

• Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the insurance industry or Big 4 audit.
• Excellent knowledge of French and IFRS accounting standards, and good understanding of French taxes.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft or S4/HANA and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
